INTERSTATE COMMISSION ON THE POTOMAC RIVER BASIN

Join Sequoia’s Gino Washington in Virginia!

The 2025 Potomac River Conference: Integrating Science, Policy, and Communications to Combat Harmful Algal Blooms will be held on October 22 at George Mason University’s Potomac Environmental Research and Education Center (PEREC). We expect attendees to be from all levels of government, water suppliers, the private sector, academia, and non-profit organizations.

The mission of the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin (ICPRB) is to protect and enhance the waters and related resources of the Potomac River basin through science, regional cooperation, and education. To further our mission, ICPRB convenes a conference each year to discuss subjects important to the Potomac River basin and beyond. The conferences and concurrent poster session focus on the latest in policy, research, trends, innovations, impacts, and management.
