Sequoia and Aquatec Forge Strategic Partnership on Advanced Sediment Measurement Instruments
[Basingstoke, UK / Bellevue, WA] – Two leaders in oceanographic instrumentation, Sequoia Scientific, Inc. and Aquatec Group Limited, today announced a strategic licensing agreement that secures the future of the widely used LISST-ABS and LISST-AOBS sensors.
Through this agreement, Aquatec will manufacture, supply, and support the instruments via its new specialist subsidiary, TECPRIME Technology Limited. The sensors will be reintroduced to the market as AQUAscat ABS and AQUAscat AOBS, continuing their essential role in measuring suspended sediment and supporting research, environmental monitoring, and offshore operations.

The agreement is effective immediately, with Aquatec/TECPRIME handling all future enquiries, sales, and service requests, while Sequoia continues to honour warranty claims for previously sold units.
