Several months have passed since the 2025 Annual Convening; the Carbon to Sea Team has now compiled a comprehensive report of the insights unlocked across three days of meaningful conversations, presentations, and workshops. Sequoia’s Kirby Simon (Science & Technology Lead) attended this year’s Annual Convening which brought together invited leaders from academia, the private sector, philanthropy, and government to share findings, connect, and accelerate knowledge sharing across disciplines. Attendees also participated in organized meetings with Congressional staff to educate them about ocean science efforts underway and federal needs related to ocean-based carbon dioxide removal.
