Sequoia is excited to announce the latest addition to our team – Gino Washington! Gino joins us asour new East Coast Sales Engineer. Gino describes himself as a polymath who loves learning random things about all manner of subjects: science, politics, psychology, art, fixing things, sports, etc. If you want to strike up a conversation, he can probably contribute. Gino grew up in Southfield, Michigan bordering Detroit and attended Michigan State University. There, he double-majored in Environmental Studies and Chinese. Gino is fluent in Mandarin and spent half a year at The City University of Hong Kong. His career has spanned a variety of roles within The United States Department of Agriculture, EcoWorks Detroit, and as an entrepreneur brand ambassador for multiple companies. He was also a math and science teacher in Chicago in a past life. Now, Gino is based in Mobile, Al on the Gulf of Mexico’s Coast where he has replaced traffic congestion, public transportation, gray skies, and snow with sun, extreme humidity, beautiful beaches, and hurricanes.
