Sequoia Ranked One of Washington’s Best Places to Work!

September 1, 2020

Last Thursday, Puget Sound Business Journal reveiled their ranked lists of Washinton’s Best Places to Work. Within our small business category, 95 other companies qualified as finalists, and Sequoia ranked 23rd!

Sequoia’s President & CEO, Dr. Ole Mikkelsen says: “I’m very pleased that Sequoia made it to the finals and placed #23 in the small business category in WA’s best places to work. 2020 was the very first year we participated in this event. Our marketing coordinator, Lena Badicke, strongly recommended that we tried it out when we hired her last year, and it has been a lot of fun. Despite the pandemic, our employees have stayed engaged AND productive – no small feat for a manufacturing company when assembly and testing suddenly have to take place at home! It is a testament to the quality of our employees and the culture created by Sequoia’s founders and owners, Yogi Agrawal and Chuck Pottsmith, that we can still operate and maintain Sequoia as an attractive place to work even if we haven’t been in the office for almost six months. We’ll definitely participate again in 2021, but I do hope it will be a more normal year!”

This was the first time that Sequoia Scientific, Inc. was nominated and completed the surveys used to evaluate businesses’ workplaces. Companies wered judged based on the results of an employee survey administered by Quantum Market Research. The survey evaluated:
