DESCRIPTION:Join us at Booth #23 – \nGlobal interest in water has increased rapidly in recent years. Many water issues are high on the political agenda\, whether it concerns the lack of access to safe water and sanitation or the increase in water‐related disasters due to floods and droughts. \nThis challenge must be addressed by management and policy decisions informed by science and engineering knowledge that is relevant\, credible\, legitimate and delivered in a timely manner. Therefore the discipline of hydro-environment engineering and research is more important than ever. The 38th IAHR World Congress will bring together the key players in the sector from around the globe in “Water – Connecting the World“\, from 1-6 September 2019 in Panama. We look forward to meeting you there! \nSequoia’s Dr. Yogi Agrawal and Dr. Ole Mikkelsen will man Sequoia’s booth (#23) and also present two talks; one about the LISST-ABS and the LISST-AOBS\, and another about the LISST-SL2: \nDr. Agrawal will present MONDAY 2nd September @ 14:15-14:30 in the Amsterdam Room. The title of his talk is: Single-Point Acoustic Backscatter and Acousto-Optic Backscatter Sensors Mark Two Major Advances in Low-Cost Suspended Sediment Concentration Monitoring. \nDr. Mikkelsen will present TUESDAY 3rd September 16:00-16:15 in the Panama 1 room.
