Sequoia Scientific, Inc. in Bellevue, WA is searching for an on-site Service and Support Specialist (virtual until the pandemic ends). Travel not expected. Main tasks will be to respond to worldwide customer support questions received via email and over the phone, and schedule and handle RMA processing in collaboration with Sequoia’s VP Engineering and Logistics manager. Secondary tasks will be to assist with, troubleshoot and document prototype instrument assembly.
The ideal candidate is highly technically minded, structured, and organized, a good communicator (verbally as well as in writing), pays attention to details without losing the big picture overview and has the following qualifications and experience:
-Experience with LISST instruments, ideally LISST-100X or LISST-200X.
-Experience with oceanographic fieldwork / sea-technician experience.
-Experience with oceanographic instrumentation troubleshooting.
Other highly desirable qualifications are:
-Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and CRM applications.
-Experience with Microsoft Teams.
