Sequoia’s Gino Washington recently visited the University of Georgia’s Skidaway Island Marine Institute of Oceanography in Skidaway Island, GA. At this institute, Dr. Sara Rivero-Calle is using a Sequoia LISST-200X in fulfillment of an NSF research grant for the Research Vessel “Savannah”. The University is also the owner of a brand-new Hyper-bb, and is using it for Ocean Color Validation research. Sequoia would like to thank Dr. Sara Rivero-Calle, Dr. Catherine Edwards, Karen Dreger, and Ben Lowin for meeting with Gino and showing him around the facilities.
