Sequoia’s rugged field instrument, the LISST-Portable|XR, is now faster and easier to use. Sequoia’s engineers have upgraded the LISST-Portable|XR’s electronics and firmware to accelerate onboard processing by a factor of several hundred.
Instead of waiting almost a minute for calculation of the particle size distribution and concentration, users now see results instantly after completion of the raw measurement. The new firmware also makes it easier to create and edit Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
All LISST-Portable|XR’s with serial numbers 592 and higher have the accelerated processor and associated firmware. Older instruments can be upgraded – contact Sequoia support for information and pricing.
