Sequoia maintains an active program of sponsored and internally funded Research and Development. Our specialty is in ocean optics, optical and laser instrumentation, and sediment transport. The research is funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, Office of Naval Research, NOAA, Naval Research Laboratories, etc. Sequoia receives funds in basic research, as well as from SBIR programs for product development.
